Christmas Hayride
On the first day of December (and the coldest night of the season), we went on a Holiday Hayride in Glenn Mills, PA. Everyone loaded on a tractor and the music started and we followed a lighted path into the dark to see huge lighted, holiday images. The music corresponded to what we were seeing. For example, "Frosty the Snowman" was playing as we went by a section with a lot of snowmen. "Let it Snow" played as we went through a tunnel where a snow machine dusted us with the white, cold stuff and as we drove past the live reindeer, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" serenaded the wagon. At the end of the ride we went into Santa's Workshop and saw the big man himself. Elliot was a little scared of him and wouldn't even give him a high five. There were several bonfires to warm up as it was quite cold. Our camera did not like the frigid weather so we did not get as many pictures as we would have liked it but it was a lot of fun.
