Yumm
Elliot's Baptism
Elliot was baptized on July 16th. His Godfather was Ed and his Godmother was Regina. Unfortunately, Regina could not be there (she was in the hospital after having a baby!!!) so my mom stood in as a witness. He was baptized at Martin Luther Chapel (where I work). He was excellent the whole time, didn't cry once during the whole service. Afterwards we went back to our house for a brunch. It was a very nice day.

Best Buds Already
6 Month Update
We just got back from Elliot's 6 month appointment. He is growing well. He now weighs 15 pounds, 12 ounces. He is 26 inches long. He is in the 25th percentile for weight and 20th for height. He got 5 shots and was not happy at all. He settled down pretty quickly though. He is now officially off the apnea monitor as of July 13th. Now we need to work on the Zantac. He was baptized yesterday and when I get some pictures I will post them. He can roll from front to back when he feels like it and last night he rolled from back to front (it freaked him out a little). We are now working on sitting up and hope that he can master it by the time we go to the shore.

A New Cousin is Born
Kyle John Callahan entered the world at 4:46 this morning. He was 5 pounds 12 ounces and 19.5 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well. We are extremely happy for Regina and Ethan. Elliot can't wait to get to the hospital to meet his new cousin.

Lake Trip
We went to Lake Garrison on Sunday to relax and get out of the house. We had a really good time. Elliot absolutely loved the water (after he had a nap). He probably would have stayed in all day but we were worried about sun burn. It was a fun day. Pictures are below.

Quick update
I forgot to tell everyone that Elliot's clogged tear duct has officially cleared up. I can't tell you the exact date but we noticed when giving him a bath for a few nights in a row that he had no gunk in his eye. It has been like that for about 2 weeks now. I guess we just got so used to it we didn't notice when it stopped being goopy. Also, hopefully by next week, he will be wireless! (He needs to get with the 21st century :-) I talked to the doctor last week about getting him off the monitor. He looked at his downloads and said the last episode was May 13th when he stopped breathing for 16 seconds. He said if he was fine until June 30th then he will take him off it. We were having phone line issues so I couldn't download the monitor so the company came out today to switch monitors. Hopefully by Monday we'll know. Keep your fingers crossed.
Happy 4th of July
