Cheeeeeeeese

Peek-a-boo, I see you

Cletus, the Slack-jawed-yokel

That is dad's name for this picture (it is a Simpsons reference)

The littlest things...

...crack me up. I love a good cell phone and standing.

I'm so happy...

...with my clothes off.

I like my new toy

Thanks mom and dad for the early Christmas present.

Look what I can reach

I like being higher, there are so many new things I shouldn't have.

I love my mom

Thanksgiving 2006

This year was a big hit again. It was a little smaller than usual since unfortunately, the North Carolina contingent couldn't make the trip. Mommom and Poppop still bought a turkey bigger than both Elliot and Kyle (30lbs). We were eating leftovers for days. Elliot enjoyed himself and ate some stuffing, sweet potatoes, bread and a little turkey. It was a very nice holiday.

You caught me.

I can't fit under the couch!

I don't want my diaper changed

I'd rather play with my Halloween cards.

This is Elliot at mommom and poppop's for Sunday night dinner. His new favorite activity is to dance whenever he hears music, you say , "dance, dance, dance" or whenever he hears music in his head. We tried to get it on video but he wasn't to into it this night. You can see him shake his body for a minute. We were able to capture him saying Dadda, which made Tim happy!
Don't mind the barking in the background, that is Ethan trying to get the kids to laugh (he thought we were taking a picture, not a video). Now that we have it figured out, more video to follow.

Ok, now what do I do?

Concentrating so hard

Maybe if I stare at it long enough, it will come to me

I so want to crawl...

...but I'm afraid to take another nose drive into the carpet.

Drooling fool

Still no teeth to show

Mail tastes good

9 month update

We just got back from Elliot's 9 month appointment and the little bugger is doing great. He weighed in at 19.7 pounds and measures 27.5 inches. He is still in the 25%tile for both but as long as he stays consistent, the doctor is happy. His head measures 45.5 cm. He definitely has eczema which we suspected and will probably get worse during the winter. We've been treating it with hydrocortisone and will continue to do so but have a prescription just in case. We were given the go ahead for finger foods even though he has no teeth. The doctor has no idea when they are coming in, his gums are swollen and he feels them but it still could be weeks or months away. His next appointment is is 3 months when he turns 1 year old!

Learned my lesson

I left Elliot's pajamas hanging in the corner on the railing of his crib (I usually remember to take them off). When I went to get him after his nap, this is what I saw.

Pumpkin Picking

We went to Johnson's Farm to go pumpkin picking. Kyle, Regina and Ethan joined us. The boys dressed in their costumes. Elliot had a great time. We came home with a little pumpkin and a gourd (you bite it, you buy it). The day included a hay ride, pumpkin picking and apple cider doughnuts.

This tastes good too

A gourd, the perfect teething toy.

I want this one

Can I get it?

I'll show you

This is how you sit, Kyle

Tastes good

We should go on hayrides more often.

Finally

Is this what we've been waiting for?

Still waiting...

...but at least I have someone to play with.

Look who joined us

Is it our turn yet?

Waiting in the LONG line for the hay ride.
