Hidden treasues

Mom and dad made me put my feet in the sand. I enjoyed the experience...the joke was on them trying to get the sand out of my toes :-)

First shore trip

We went to Cape May Point on June 10, to celebrate Gramps' birthday. It was a very windy weekend but I did get to see the ocean and spend 5 minutes on the beach (see pictures below). On Sunday we spent a nice time relaxing on the grass in the circle. I can't wait until we all go down in August because I think I will enjoy it even more.

4 month update

We went to our 4 month appointment on May 16th. Elliot now weighs 12 pounds 7 ounces and is 24 and 1/4 inches long. His head is 40 cm round. He is now in the 25% for both weight and height. He is growing well but still the "little peanut man" as my parents say. He got 3 shots and was not happy. They made him irritable for 2 days. The doctor said we could start solid food if we want but I told him we are going to wait at least another month due to prior stomach issues. We are trying white grape juice to help with constipation (hopefully it won't hurt his stomach like the pear juice). He will be starting vitamins as well. On a great note...he is sleeping through the night. This is night 5 where he slept from 8:30pm-6:00am. Dad is super happy because Elliot dropped the feeding he had to get up for. The teething process has started but a tooth is a long way away.

Visit to Washington DC

We took our annual trip to DC to do the Brain Tumor walk. Elliot did a great job and was a happy baby all weekend. We went to the National Zoo and visited the animals. He spent some quality time with Gram so mom and dad could go to the Nats game. On Sunday we did the walk and got some shots in front of the Monument. He also got to hang out with Paul and Molly. (sorry we didn't get a picture with Molly). We had a nice time.
